OPE I G WEEK

With school in session, the students of Frankfort Community High
School had a uniqu opening week. orne students were frightened, some
were excited, but all in all it went better than expected. From waking up
early on Wednesday, August 15, to enjoying the Friday night "soap
game" /Meet the Team football kickoff, our students had a busy
introduction to the new school year. chool spirit was off the charts, as
students filled the entire cheering section at Johnson Field. We can not
forget about academics as many students made goals to be dedicated to
their studies this year! Mr. Dial and Mr . ullivan, our new principal and
vice principal, opened the school year with a fashion show for our dress
code rules. Many new additions to our staff were made. ew teachers for
the 2018-2019 school year included Mr. Hiller, Ms. Francis, Mrs. Winkler,
Mrs. Presley, Mr. Wilson, Mr. Wyllie, and Mr. Mayer, and the student
body was so excited to welcome them! Excitement was in the air during
opening week, and between tudents, sports, school spirit, and staff, we all
looked forward to the best year yet. We are all in this together!
