to their year. Despite that. these students managed to pull through and get their
hard earned diploma in the midst of the chaos. A socially-distanced graduation
was held on a warm Saturday, on June 13th. in the parking lot of the VF Mall.
Redbird masks and waters were provided for each participant and chairs were
placed six feet apart. Michael Scales started off the ceremony with a prayer.
Valedictorians Sarah Wollessen. Ashley Buckingham. and Sophia Simonis.
along with salutatorian Jenna Herron. followed him by giving their touching
and motiootional speeches to their peers. While this graduation was certainly
unique. all the emotions still ran high as the class of 2020 said their farewells to
their beloved high school. Best of luck to our newest alumni!
